SIMATIC S7-1200 CPU can add up to three communication modules to support PROFIBUS master-slave communication. RS485 and RS232 communication modules provide connection and I/O connection master for point-to-point serial communication.
Station. Expanded instruction or library function, USS driver protocol, Modbus RTU master station and slave station protocol are used in the configuration and programming of the communication. They are all included in the SIMATICSTE7 Basic engineering configuration system.
Simple Remote Control Application
The new communication processor CP 1242-7 can simultaneously monitor and control distributed S7-1200 units through simple HUB (hub) or mobile phone network or Internet (Internet).
Integrated PROFINET Interface
The integrated PROFINET interface is used for programming, HMI communication and PLC communication. In addition, it supports communication with third-party devices through an open Ethernet protocol. The interface has a RJ45 connector with auto-cross-over function, which provides 10/100 Mbit/s data transmission rate and supports the following protocols: TCP/IP native, ISO-on-TCP and S7 communication.
